A stunning walk along the banks of the babbling River Fowey. There are many places suitable for paddling in the river and a number of places suitable for a woodland picnic.

Three fine late Neolithic or early Bronze Age stone circles arranged in a line, a grouping unique in England. According to legend, they are the remains of men petrified for playing hurling on a Sunday.

Two richly carved pieces of a 9th century 'Celtic' cross, with an inscription commemorating Dungarth, King of Dumnonia in the south-west of Britain, who drowned in about AD 875.

This is a well-preserved and impressive Neolithic 'dolmen' burial chamber which stands 2.7 metres high. There are five standing stones, surmounted by a huge capstone.
